Network

We are living in a modern world.
With the internet, I pads android and smart phone networking has become the norm. With Face book and Twitter it has become so easy to communicate with each other.
God has given me a Vision for 2012 to see change, to see Revival in our Nation and even to see Revival spread throughout the whole world.
The word God has given me is network and believes if we want to see CHANGE we need to be united with those that have also been given the same Vision.
God has shown me that we need to have a network of people up and down the country with the same vision, so that each of us carrying that vision can bring change to their own area, with the help of others practically in support and in prayer but also for those that have the skills to share those skills to see change.
Some people have the vision, but don’t have the skill or wisdom to know where to start and I believe each of us carrying the vision God has given us, have a responsibility to help those that share that vision.
So if we want to see CHANGE we need to be working together in one Vision under the anointing of the Holy Spirit to bring Revival

Stepping out in Faith

For some this is so difficult, but if God tells you to do something and you step out in Faith and obedience, you will see great and wonderful things happen.
When God called me to go back to Bible college, back in the early 90s, I thought I have a family, job, commitments, how can I afford to give up my job how will I pay the bills, feed my family.
I thought to myself I will send off to different Bible colleges to get a prospectus, I wasn’t after a qualification as I had already completed a Bachelor of divinity.
Well I received about 20 prospectus I prayed over each one for God to show me where to go, every time I walk out the room or focus on them God seemed  to be showing me Roffey College part of Kingdom Faith Ministries. I filled in the application and enclosed a photo as required, I received a reply and I was to have an interview with Jonathan Croft, I thought of all the question I maybe asked and came up with what I thought were good answers.
Well the day came and off I went for the interview I was introduced to Jonathan and we  had a time of prayer, than out of the blue Jonathan said God wanted me to attend Roffey he had prayed over my photo I had sent in and God had spoken to him, no question no smart answers, I had taken my first step of Faith.
That was the easy bit, I than gave up my job sold my car and brought a smaller car that was economical as I would have around 600miles a week to drive to attend college.
Than came the day my first day at Roffey I had the first terms fee and about enough money to pay bills mortgage and travelling cost.
What a first day AMAZING I knew from that point without any doubts I was meant to be there, it was a incredible year, people I didn’t even know came up to me in the street and gave me money, I would come down stairs in the morning and there would be an envelope full of cash, When you are faithful God provides all your needs the car I brought lasted till after a week of finishing college God is good.
But in this year God gave me a heart for those around me, a hunger for more of him a revived heart. For 20yrs now I have been walking around with my thumb firmly placed on my head, waiting to see change! waiting to see God impact our nation and as I walk each day in faith he as showed me to remove my thumb as we are now entering the time I have been faithfully waiting for a time where He is going to pour out his Spirit upon this land.

Love one Another

Love one Another

This was a new commandment given to us by Jesus to Love one another as He loves us (Jn13:34); Lets look at this more closely, How much did Jesus the Son and God the Father love us did we deserve that Love ? God loves us so much that he sent his Son Jesus as a Sacrifice for our Sin; did we deserve this love NO we were dead in our sin but by the grace of God He loves the sinner but not the sin.
Since the sin of Adam man had been separated from God, but because God loved us so much He gave us Jesus as a living sacrifice to right the wrong done by Adam so we could once again come into the very presence of God. We did nothing to deserve this love.
Jesus commanded us to Love each other has He Loved us, He gave up everything, He came down to earth from Heaven was beaten, whipped, His beard ripped from His face, He was mocked and reject by those He loved even God His Father rejected Him because He had our sin upon Him, He was crucified, pierced and died for our transgressions, then descended into hell, at this time He was cut off from His Father, This is just a vague picture of what Jesus went through for his Love for us.
Now he commanded us to Love one another as he Loved us, this just doesn’t mean our friends and family, it means everyone we come into contact with, I remember years ago someone knocked on my door looking  for my neighbours who were Italian, and had just a few days before moved back to Italy, it was pouring down with rain, 10:30pm and he had travel 200 miles for a surprise visit I asked him in  made him a coffee and offered him a bed for the night, Next day after making him some breakfast bid him farewell and he went on his way. My friends and family said I was Stupid letting a stranger into my home, but as we drunk our coffee the night before I prayed and asked God for direction in this situation and as I did I felt a inner peace so I knew I was under the protection of God, also there are no strangers when we are in Christ just people we haven’t met yet. We need to have unconditional Love for our fellow man, alright I wouldn’t do this with every Tom, Dick and Harry that comes to my door but if God tells me its ok I will. See we need to love each other as God loves us.
Love without boundaries not just to those we know but to everyone we come into contact with.
Remember Christ is in us and we are in Christ so we should have the heart of God within us so we should have a Love without limits.

Prayer

Prayer
What as happen to the corporate prayer life of the Church today? Where are the pray warriors? If we want to see God impact our society our nation, we need to be praying together in unison in the vision God as given us, corporately.
Churches should be built on prayer, if we want to see great things happen we need to be doing this, there are always excuses, “come on Folks” this is the most important thing, we can all pray individually , but we need to be praying daily corporately in one accord, this is when we see Great Things happen.
When we are living in Revival prayer is easy, I find myself praying some times for hours, but trying to get other to pray with you daily is really hard work.
People want God to do great things but can’t be bothered to put the effort in.
People are willing to come to the Church meeting on a Sunday, band practices, and even house groups so why no prayer meetings?
I want to see God impact the nation I live in; I want to see people with revive hearts praying together in unison in the Spirit in one accord.
This is when we will see change, this is when God will impact the very fabric of our society.

What is True Revival

Revival is a word that is used so loosely today, you need to be truly living in Revival to really understand the true meaning of the word.
There is being Baptist in the Spirit, then there’s living in revival two different states.
What is living in Revival, it is having an amazing LOVE for God and for those around you
A strong Faith – Faith working through Love
Walking in holiness and a desires to see those around you saved
A real desire for prayer,  praying from deep within yourself.
Worshipping God where every part of you cry’s out to God in adoration, in praise and in worship, to give you an example, the other night I started to praise God and I felt such a presence of God it seem like I had been worshiping for10 minutes but I soon came to realize it was Morning no I didn’t fall asleep I was lost in God in worship, it is the most wonderful experience you can have, being in the very presence of God.
A strong desire to serve the purpose of God, whatever that might entail,
When we are in Revival we are dead to self and alive in HIM, we are in God, we are no longer living our lives but we are living God’s life through us. Revival isn’t an out pouring of the Holy Spirit, but a state of Holy living, living in the very presence of God.

Dead to self – Alive in Jesus

“If anyone would come after Me, he must deny himself “(Matt: 16)
If we want to see true revival in our personal lives, we need to die to self and to be alive in Christ. How can God use us if we are full of self, how does that glorify Him, we are just glorifying ourselves, we need to be broken to self, If we look at the great men of God they always say I can’t do it Lord, they look at themselves and know there own limitation , I sometimes think when I read this God is jumping up and down in Heaven shouting “Hallelujah you got it” then God turns and says its not you (self) but ME working through you, Jeremiah is a great example of this he gave God every excuse in the book
I have sat at the dinner table with some great men of God some of them are international preachers and think to myself I‘m going to have a fantastic conversation with them and they find it hard to communicate with me, because it not them up on that stage but God working through them, they are nothing without Christ.
We need to understand this basic principle we are nothing without God who strengthen us.
We need to die to self, we need to understand that when we are dead to self this is when God takes over, it is then we can say God is in me and I am in Him
I have heard Christian say we have freedom of choice, we can choose to do God’s will or not, these Christians need a new understanding that God is in us and we are in Him we are no longer making our own decisions, God as now become the decision maker, if we are in Revival we are dead to self, We are living God’s life through us.

Revived Hearts

We all believe that Jesus came down from heaven as man was crucified for our sin and rose again so through Jesus we are save. He is in us and we are in Him and as Christians full of the Holy Spirit with revived hearts, we should be living in revival, so collectively the Church should be in revival BUT are we seeing this. In truth we have to say no if we were, the churches would be over flowing and I would even say our society would not be in the state that it is in, which in itself is heart breaking. God as commissioned us, to go make disciples of all nations, but we’d rather sit at home and watch television, we have become complacent, we need our hearts to be revived a fresh. What does revived mean it literally mean to come alive again, see we were dead in our sin but we are revived (made alive) IN Christ.
As I’m writing this, I’m listening to Jesus Culture “I need you more” and I wonder if we really think about what we are listening to or what we are singing, this song say I need you more, more than yesterday, I want you more than the air I breathe, more than anything, I need you more, your presence is more than life to me, can we really say this is true and if it is true does it reflect in our daily lives.
Does our soul, does our all, cry out to God in worship in praise and adoration, I don’t want to be a Sunday Christian, you see Jesus is in me and I am in Him,(1John 4:15)  He as revived my heart and I want to see all those around me feel the same way.
If we all have revived hearts than we are in a place of revival, it is only then that we will see Jesus impact our nation, the very society that we are living in.
