Network

We are living in a modern world.
With the internet, I pads android and smart phone networking has become the norm. With Face book and Twitter it has become so easy to communicate with each other.
God has given me a Vision for 2012 to see change, to see Revival in our Nation and even to see Revival spread throughout the whole world.
The word God has given me is network and believes if we want to see CHANGE we need to be united with those that have also been given the same Vision.
God has shown me that we need to have a network of people up and down the country with the same vision, so that each of us carrying that vision can bring change to their own area, with the help of others practically in support and in prayer but also for those that have the skills to share those skills to see change.
Some people have the vision, but don’t have the skill or wisdom to know where to start and I believe each of us carrying the vision God has given us, have a responsibility to help those that share that vision.
So if we want to see CHANGE we need to be working together in one Vision under the anointing of the Holy Spirit to bring Revival

Stepping out in Faith

For some this is so difficult, but if God tells you to do something and you step out in Faith and obedience, you will see great and wonderful things happen.
When God called me to go back to Bible college, back in the early 90s, I thought I have a family, job, commitments, how can I afford to give up my job how will I pay the bills, feed my family.
I thought to myself I will send off to different Bible colleges to get a prospectus, I wasn’t after a qualification as I had already completed a Bachelor of divinity.
Well I received about 20 prospectus I prayed over each one for God to show me where to go, every time I walk out the room or focus on them God seemed  to be showing me Roffey College part of Kingdom Faith Ministries. I filled in the application and enclosed a photo as required, I received a reply and I was to have an interview with Jonathan Croft, I thought of all the question I maybe asked and came up with what I thought were good answers.
Well the day came and off I went for the interview I was introduced to Jonathan and we  had a time of prayer, than out of the blue Jonathan said God wanted me to attend Roffey he had prayed over my photo I had sent in and God had spoken to him, no question no smart answers, I had taken my first step of Faith.
That was the easy bit, I than gave up my job sold my car and brought a smaller car that was economical as I would have around 600miles a week to drive to attend college.
Than came the day my first day at Roffey I had the first terms fee and about enough money to pay bills mortgage and travelling cost.
What a first day AMAZING I knew from that point without any doubts I was meant to be there, it was a incredible year, people I didn’t even know came up to me in the street and gave me money, I would come down stairs in the morning and there would be an envelope full of cash, When you are faithful God provides all your needs the car I brought lasted till after a week of finishing college God is good.
But in this year God gave me a heart for those around me, a hunger for more of him a revived heart. For 20yrs now I have been walking around with my thumb firmly placed on my head, waiting to see change! waiting to see God impact our nation and as I walk each day in faith he as showed me to remove my thumb as we are now entering the time I have been faithfully waiting for a time where He is going to pour out his Spirit upon this land.

Love one Another

Love one Another

This was a new commandment given to us by Jesus to Love one another as He loves us (Jn13:34); Lets look at this more closely, How much did Jesus the Son and God the Father love us did we deserve that Love ? God loves us so much that he sent his Son Jesus as a Sacrifice for our Sin; did we deserve this love NO we were dead in our sin but by the grace of God He loves the sinner but not the sin.
Since the sin of Adam man had been separated from God, but because God loved us so much He gave us Jesus as a living sacrifice to right the wrong done by Adam so we could once again come into the very presence of God. We did nothing to deserve this love.
Jesus commanded us to Love each other has He Loved us, He gave up everything, He came down to earth from Heaven was beaten, whipped, His beard ripped from His face, He was mocked and reject by those He loved even God His Father rejected Him because He had our sin upon Him, He was crucified, pierced and died for our transgressions, then descended into hell, at this time He was cut off from His Father, This is just a vague picture of what Jesus went through for his Love for us.
Now he commanded us to Love one another as he Loved us, this just doesn’t mean our friends and family, it means everyone we come into contact with, I remember years ago someone knocked on my door looking  for my neighbours who were Italian, and had just a few days before moved back to Italy, it was pouring down with rain, 10:30pm and he had travel 200 miles for a surprise visit I asked him in  made him a coffee and offered him a bed for the night, Next day after making him some breakfast bid him farewell and he went on his way. My friends and family said I was Stupid letting a stranger into my home, but as we drunk our coffee the night before I prayed and asked God for direction in this situation and as I did I felt a inner peace so I knew I was under the protection of God, also there are no strangers when we are in Christ just people we haven’t met yet. We need to have unconditional Love for our fellow man, alright I wouldn’t do this with every Tom, Dick and Harry that comes to my door but if God tells me its ok I will. See we need to love each other as God loves us.
Love without boundaries not just to those we know but to everyone we come into contact with.
Remember Christ is in us and we are in Christ so we should have the heart of God within us so we should have a Love without limits.

Prayer

Prayer
What as happen to the corporate prayer life of the Church today? Where are the pray warriors? If we want to see God impact our society our nation, we need to be praying together in unison in the vision God as given us, corporately.
Churches should be built on prayer, if we want to see great things happen we need to be doing this, there are always excuses, “come on Folks” this is the most important thing, we can all pray individually , but we need to be praying daily corporately in one accord, this is when we see Great Things happen.
When we are living in Revival prayer is easy, I find myself praying some times for hours, but trying to get other to pray with you daily is really hard work.
People want God to do great things but can’t be bothered to put the effort in.
People are willing to come to the Church meeting on a Sunday, band practices, and even house groups so why no prayer meetings?
I want to see God impact the nation I live in; I want to see people with revive hearts praying together in unison in the Spirit in one accord.
This is when we will see change, this is when God will impact the very fabric of our society.

What is True Revival

Revival is a word that is used so loosely today, you need to be truly living in Revival to really understand the true meaning of the word.
There is being Baptist in the Spirit, then there’s living in revival two different states.
What is living in Revival, it is having an amazing LOVE for God and for those around you
A strong Faith – Faith working through Love
Walking in holiness and a desires to see those around you saved
A real desire for prayer,  praying from deep within yourself.
Worshipping God where every part of you cry’s out to God in adoration, in praise and in worship, to give you an example, the other night I started to praise God and I felt such a presence of God it seem like I had been worshiping for10 minutes but I soon came to realize it was Morning no I didn’t fall asleep I was lost in God in worship, it is the most wonderful experience you can have, being in the very presence of God.
A strong desire to serve the purpose of God, whatever that might entail,
When we are in Revival we are dead to self and alive in HIM, we are in God, we are no longer living our lives but we are living God’s life through us. Revival isn’t an out pouring of the Holy Spirit, but a state of Holy living, living in the very presence of God.

Dead to self – Alive in Jesus

“If anyone would come after Me, he must deny himself “(Matt: 16)
If we want to see true revival in our personal lives, we need to die to self and to be alive in Christ. How can God use us if we are full of self, how does that glorify Him, we are just glorifying ourselves, we need to be broken to self, If we look at the great men of God they always say I can’t do it Lord, they look at themselves and know there own limitation , I sometimes think when I read this God is jumping up and down in Heaven shouting “Hallelujah you got it” then God turns and says its not you (self) but ME working through you, Jeremiah is a great example of this he gave God every excuse in the book
I have sat at the dinner table with some great men of God some of them are international preachers and think to myself I‘m going to have a fantastic conversation with them and they find it hard to communicate with me, because it not them up on that stage but God working through them, they are nothing without Christ.
We need to understand this basic principle we are nothing without God who strengthen us.
We need to die to self, we need to understand that when we are dead to self this is when God takes over, it is then we can say God is in me and I am in Him
I have heard Christian say we have freedom of choice, we can choose to do God’s will or not, these Christians need a new understanding that God is in us and we are in Him we are no longer making our own decisions, God as now become the decision maker, if we are in Revival we are dead to self, We are living God’s life through us.

Revived Hearts

We all believe that Jesus came down from heaven as man was crucified for our sin and rose again so through Jesus we are save. He is in us and we are in Him and as Christians full of the Holy Spirit with revived hearts, we should be living in revival, so collectively the Church should be in revival BUT are we seeing this. In truth we have to say no if we were, the churches would be over flowing and I would even say our society would not be in the state that it is in, which in itself is heart breaking. God as commissioned us, to go make disciples of all nations, but we’d rather sit at home and watch television, we have become complacent, we need our hearts to be revived a fresh. What does revived mean it literally mean to come alive again, see we were dead in our sin but we are revived (made alive) IN Christ.
As I’m writing this, I’m listening to Jesus Culture “I need you more” and I wonder if we really think about what we are listening to or what we are singing, this song say I need you more, more than yesterday, I want you more than the air I breathe, more than anything, I need you more, your presence is more than life to me, can we really say this is true and if it is true does it reflect in our daily lives.
Does our soul, does our all, cry out to God in worship in praise and adoration, I don’t want to be a Sunday Christian, you see Jesus is in me and I am in Him,(1John 4:15)  He as revived my heart and I want to see all those around me feel the same way.
If we all have revived hearts than we are in a place of revival, it is only then that we will see Jesus impact our nation, the very society that we are living in.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

I know that 2012 is going to be a very busy year for the Church in the UK.
But how can we see this happen, and what are our responsibilities as Christians and most important what are the responsibilities of the Church leadership to ensure this continues not only now but for the next generation?
As I have already written, we need to be praying and moving in unison under the anointing of the Holy Spirit in the Vision God as given us. We should be supporting one another in the Gifts God as given us to fulfill His purpose and plan for our lives and the Church.
The responsibilities of the Church leadership are to ensure that all members reach their full potential in Christ. To come along side them and support them in the purpose and plan God has for them even if it means that they move on later to continue or fulfill that purpose elsewhere. Everyone is important and God has a plan for each of them.
The leadership should ensure that people don’t stay the same, that there should be Spiritual growth in their lives, it is the leader’s responsibility to the Body and to God. If our leadership isn’t in revival how can the Church be in revival?  There are so many leaders that can preach a good sermon but see no growth both spiritually or in their numbers.  Are these leaders fulfilling God’s plan for their own lives and for the life of the church?  We can look at the Churches in South Korea for inspiration, churches of over 1,000,000 people.   How many turn up for the daily early morning prayer meeting?  The answer is over 3 sessions 97% of the congregation turn up, all praying in one accord in the purpose and plan they have for their church group.
Revival stems from our relationship with God not only individually but as a church. While I was at Roffey College (Kingdom Faith Ministry) I saw great things happen.   I saw the new Revival Centre open and I saw hundreds of people coming into the Church, this happened not because Colin Urquart was an international speaker and writer but because he and the leadership there were totally submitted to the will of God and each other.  Stepping out together in faith in the vision he had given them, they prayed daily, seeking Gods will for themselves but also for the church.
If we want Jesus to impact our nation, we need leaders with vision, full of the Holy Spirit working to ensure that individuals under their authority reaches their full potential in Jesus and to help each person to fulfill the purpose and plan God has for them.

Who Am I

Who am I.

I have been a Christian for 27 years I came to know the Lord while serving in the Army. I went on to do a Bachelor of divinity as I longed to serve God and thought that this was the way to go, but it left me a bit deflated, I jogged along in my Christian life but didn’t really seem to be getting anywhere, I seem to be going backwards, I needed to revive my heart, I needed a fresh encounter with God.
One day while I was spending time with God he showed me I need to change my mind set, knowing the word, knowing His doctrines and laws was not enough I needed Faith I needed Gods Heart. I decided to go Back to Bible college not a theological college but a faith college I prayed God would direct me to where I should go, I went to Roffey in Horsham West Sussex part of Kingdom Faith Ministries, I spent a year there the best year of my life, I encountered Jesus in away I never knew possible this changed my life totally the way I prayed, worship and even the way I read my Bible, my whole out look on life had changed,  in reality I realized that getting my B.D had been a waste of time it was not knowledge I needed but to know the Lord in a real way, I needed that deeper relationship with Him. I left Roffey full of the Holy spirit (more like over flowing) and with a heart for revival.
My heart yearns to serve Jesus and I do so anyway I can, if something needs doing I’m there I’ve been involved with most aspects of Church life from putting out chairs to making cups of tea’s to being part of the worship team to being a pray warrior I will serve Jesus anyway I can, I don’t particular want to put Chairs out but I do it with joy in my heart and a song on my lips I just love to serve.

the Great Flood 2012

The great flood 2012

So much media hype about 2012 the world is going to end.
The media have brought out films about this, 2012 is a good example and those of us that have sky television may have seen on the Discovery channel, the so called experts telling us underwater volcano’s and volcano’s in the desert in America are going to erupt which in turn is going to cause a Tsunami that is going to flood the earth. But as Christians we know that the Bible tells us this is not to be true. So many prophecies have not been fulfilled and if we read and understand what God is telling us in Revelations, the world can’t possible end in this way and only God can destroy the earth.
I do believe there is going to be a great flood, but not the kind the media are talking about; I believe that God is going to send a great flood of the Holy Spirit over this Nation. You may ask why I believe this.
 Last night while I was worshipping and spending time in pray with the Lord I felt an awesome Presence of God and as I laid prostrated He gave me a vision; this is what the Lord showed me;
I was standing on the Ridge outside the cemetery looking down over Hastings when suddenly I saw this great wave engulfing the town and this great wave was coming towards me, I saw people running up the hill but they were not people more like black shadows full of darkness trying to escape this wave, as this wave drew closer and closer towards me I felt such an inner peace and such a presence of God, this wave continues to get closer and closer and as it did I could see it wasn’t a wave of water but the spirit of God flow like living waters across the town, when it reached me I was lifted off the ground and as I was lifted up I could see these living waters continue to flow into the distance covering all the land as it went.
The lord showed me that this was the wave of revival, the wave of the Holy Spirit that will sweeping through our towns, our villages our cities right across the nation, the shadows I saw running, up the hill was the evil he was chasing out of our towns, villages and cities. He showed me that there is going to be Tsunami but not of water but the Spirit of God that will sweep through the nation in 2012

Deeper
If we want a deeper relationship with Jesus, we need a new way of Communicating with God, where our very souls cry out to God in worship and Praise. We need to hunger for God, a place where we need more of Him so much more, where our very soul long for God, we need to encounter God in a deeper Way. We need to go deeper into the presence of God. We need to be in a place where the only thing you can sense is God, I believe it is similar too the place the priests of the Old Testament entered when they went into the Tabernacle, Into the very presence of God. It is in this place that the Lord communicates with us where He envisions us. We need to be passionate in our relationship with God, There is no greater love, than God’s love for us, and we need to have an intimate relationship with Him. God loves us so much that he sent His only Son Jesus who is both God and Man to die for our iniquities and right the wrong brought about by the sin of Adam, before this God actually walked and talk with Adam in the Garden of Eden. Through Jesus we can now once again come into the very presence of God, this itself should bring us to that place of divine worship. I believe from deep in side my heart God is going to pour out His Spirit upon this nation in 2012 in a way man hasn’t seen, and if this is your desire to see God impact our nation I beg you to search deep so deep inside yourself for that place, a place where the very sinew of your body cry out to God.
I want to see Christians in this nation boiling over for God

Relationship in Christ

We should strive to have a deeper Relationship with God the Father God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, where the very essence of our spirit cry out to God in worship, where literally our heart and flesh cry out to Him. If we want God to impact our village, town, cities and even our nation we need a dynamic spirit of Revival, the only way this is going to happen is to have a deeper Relationship with him. In a world bankrupt of spiritual and moral values he seeks those that are wiling to swim against the tide, which are willing to stand up for what is right whatever the cost. Jim Elliot was a missionary who was killed by the Ecuadorian Indians while spreading the gospel, was this a wasted life, Jim Elliot wrote this before he left for Ecuador “ why try to keep that what you cannot keep for that, which you cannot loose”, we cannot keep this life but we can’t loose our salvation through Christ Jesus.
In revelation 3 it says “you’re neither hot nor cold” so many Christian today come under this banner I call them Sunday Christians no real depth in their Relationship with God, they bear no fruit and moan when God moves and disrupts their comfortable insignificant lives you may think that a strong thing to say but if you read what God says about them I’m being nice.
If we want Jesus to impact our Nation we need Christians that are weak in self but strong in God.
We live in a time of recession where people are living with uncertainty and are searching for something this is a perfect time for Revival, but we need Christian that are single minded in their relationship with God, Christians who are in unison with each other and moving together under the anointing of God
If you want to see change in our nation and you want to see Jesus impact our society I urge you to strive for a deeper relationship with God and seek the purpose and vision He as for your life !.

Fulfilling Destiny

Our job as the body of Christ is to equip and train people in order to be able to fulfil destiny and potential.  God has a plan for every person’s life and when a person gets saved, the plan suddenly just does not start there but it is then that the person steps into this plan, working in cooperation with him.
We need to help the church to believe that it is possible that if we work together we can see change.  We need to mobilise people to have passion and vision.  I want people to understand that in Christ Jesus nothing is too difficult.  Once people realise literally who they are in Christ this will help them to change the way that they think.
We need to teach and train people to fulfil Gods potential and purpose for their lives, as the body of Christ, with every part of the body working and functioning and doing what it has been called to be across this nation.  This CAN change this nation from the inside out.
We have a responsibility to see people equipped.  These are all people who are wanting to do something but don’t know how to.  We need to come alongside these people and help them to fulfil their calling and potential.
It should break our hearts to see people staying the same.  We need to see them flourishing and full of faith and full of the Holy Spirit.  We need to invest in them.
We need to see people motivated with purpose and vision that are carrying something of the heart of God for this generation.  People that will go out with an intensity to serve God and to be obedient to what he is saying to them.  People, who when God speaks to them, listen to him and obey.
As the body of Christ we should be living for more that just living for today or even for tomorrow.  We have a vision from God.  We see something that God has promised that he is going to do to move an outpouring of his spirit to change multitudes of people in this nation.  God wants us to influence the society that we are living in.  Therefore we need a revival dynamic.  I believe that God wants us all to have this dynamic spirit of revival, not just for our selves but also as the body of Christ (Church) and as Christians we need to be living and breathing this, as we all know that society needs to change and we need to be the people, the body of Christ to effect it.

Jesus

Our life’s goal should be to be obsessed with Jesus Christ, an obsession is almost always destructive, but  this is one obsession that is liberating , that will bring us into our destiny, it will fill us with spiritual pleasure it will make our spirit fascinated.
There is no aspect of the grace of God that most powerfully transforms us and satisfies us, is when God reveals God to our spirit.
When God the Holy Spirit reveals God the Son to our spirit
Christianity is actively pursuing and encountering a person that is fully God and fully Man
I want to be fully lost in the splendor of this Man, I want to be lost in encountering the Majesty and splendor of this Man.
The best keep secret in the Church today in my opinion is the magnificent of Jesus, my spirit longs for more.
We need the Holy Spirit to lead us into the deeper thing’s of the heart of God, but He will only reveal has much of God  as we are ready to receive, are we ready for more ? , the Holy Spirit will only reveal more of Jesus based on our readiness to receive him
Someone may have a far greater intellect than you, but, you could have a greater capacity to encounter God if you are ready to receive more of Him, we need to set our Hearts and minds in a new way.
The most powerful the most pleasurable reality anyone can experience is the knowledge of God and the magnificent’s of Jesus.
We can receive the gift of salvation free, but to pursue the deeper things of His heart and the excellent knowledge of Jesus will cost us everything Paul said I gave up everything to know Him

What we think about God is the most important thing about our spiritual life – The most revealing thing about Church is found in our idea about Jesus AW Tozzer
